Bluewater Partners With ComicFleaMarket.com

For every title that hits the comic book store shelf, there are always several dozen that never get to be published. With Bluewater’s new partnership with ComicFleaMarket.com, many of these hidden gems finally get into the hands of fans and readers.

Many of the titles that are being included in the new distribution deal include those that were prematurely suspended, appeal to niche markets and several that were never published due to revised scheduling priorities. Bluewater also mentions Diamond’s new strict benchmarks affected some of the titles.

“This is a time to celebrate. Fans will be able to get some of their favorite titles as a printed version,” said Darren G. Davis, president of Bluewater Productions. “Although we feel Diamond’s new business practices doesn’t bode well for independent comic book publisher, we are happy to have found a brilliant outlet in ComicFleaMarket.com to get these titles out.”

Bluewater’s agreement with ComicFleaMarket.com allows the Vancouver, WA-based publisher to print dozens of titles that were only available as ebooks. In some cases, the titles will present new, exclusive collectible covers.

Davis added, “Although many have seen these titles as ebooks, it’s not the same as holding printed versions in your hand. I have seen companies like this in the book market- but this will be a game changer for the comic book industry as more titles are going the ebook route".

Some of the titles that will be exclusive to ComicFleaMarket.com are "Judo Girl: Wanna Revolution" #4, "Wrath of Titans: Revenge of Medusa #4, Paparazzi" #4, "Medusa" #1, "The Royals: Prince Harry" comic book edition, "Fame: Selena Gomez" comic book edition, "Female Force: Arianna Huffington", "William Nolan's: Dark Universe", "Vincent Price Presents", "Legend of Isis: Revenge of Horus" mini series and more!

The 1st exclusive will be a new edition of sold out "Female Force: Ann Rice" with a new cover.

Bluewater is still distributing the bulk of their comic books through Diamond and exclusively distributing graphic novels thru SCB.
