His hopes are that the tournament will attract Ryu where he will be able to take over him. But Bison’s dream may not happen, if Akuma has his way first. This issue explains the origin of Cammy and introduces another character, forged through Bison. As usual, most of the story is spent on fights and choreography which makes for very slim reading. The story’s structure, though is well developed with foreshadowing and subplots well planned and exposed. Ultimately, this comic book will be of interest to Street Fighter fans seeking tidbits on that universe’s lore, but offers very little reward to a new reader, although being very new reader friendly. The artwork is great. Although it’s stylized, the choreography is clear even when rendered through the complicated panel layout.
