X-MEN #160 "DAY OF THE ATOM" pt. 4 (of 4)

Xorn, or who ever he is, has the ability to suck the world into his head.....which is a black hole don't ya know. If the X-Men don't find his containment helmet, that's exactly what will happen.

We left off with Collective Man and the Chinese army coming for Alex, Bobby & Juggernaut, as well as the ambush set for Wolverine, Lorna, Gambit & Rogue, by.....the Collective Man (he gets around). All this gets resolved, but by the end it does seem pretty pointless and never really a life, death situation. Some of the banter between Bobby and Juggernaut is kinda funny though. The Xorn, fake, real situation isn't resolved though, but we are left with an interesting indecision regarding Juggernaut.

Larroca has got skills, there's no denying that, but at times the issue looked rather flat. Bobby is drawn really well and rounded (the scene where he comes out of the lake is great), but sometime Juggernaut seemed rather one dimensional. Also Lorna's face made her look like the Joker. The cover is OK, but Alex's uniform makes the angles look off.
