VIZ MEDIA BRINGS NARUTO NATION™ TO 2007 COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL

Special Sweepstakes, Daily Giveaways And Previews Of New Video Games Highlight Some Of What’s To Come

VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media), one of the entertainment industry's most innovative and comprehensive publishing, animation and licensing companies, brings Naruto Nation™ to the 2007 Comic-Con International as the wildly successful property expands to include new video games, DVDs, manga, and more. To celebrate the launch at the show, VIZ Media and its show partners will hold a variety of special sweepstakes and daily giveaways.

Throughout the show in VIZ Media’s booth #4113, show-goers are encouraged to complete and return an entry form for a chance to win a PS2 courtesy of Namco Bandai on Thursday July 26 at 4pm, an Xbox 360 courtesy of Ubisoft on Friday, July 27 at 4pm, and a Nintendo Wii courtesy of TOMY Saturday, July 27 at 2:30pm. See VIZ Media booth for Official Rules and more details.  Beginning August 2, fans may go online to www.naruto.com/missiontojoin to enter to win a trip to next year’s Comic- Con International and other fantastic prizes.

VIZ Media has partnered with several leading game manufacturers to present a variety of Naruto-inspired interactive video games in its booth during the convention. Namco/Bandai Games America will demo Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 for the Sony PlayStation 2, while Ubisoft will feature a playable demo of Naruto: Rise of a Ninja for the Xbox 360 as a world debut exclusive. Attendees will also have a chance to play the ultimate Naruto party game for the Nintendo Wii as Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution makes its debut from TOMY Corporation and D3Publisher of America, Inc. (D3PA).

VIZ Media will further focus on Naruto with a dedicated discussion about the buzz surrounding the hit anime and manga series, set for Saturday, July 28 at 11:30 a.m. in Room #2 and a special free screening of Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow is set for 4:30pm on Saturday, July 28 at the United Artists Horton Plaza Theatre, located walking distance from the San Diego Convention Center.  Naruto is rated T for teen.

VIZ Media has launched Naruto Nation™ as a broad campaign to bring an unprecedented increase in the frequency of publication of its popular Naruto™ manga series. In order to catch up to the present Japanese release schedule and to prepare readers for upcoming notable changes in the main character and story arc, VIZ Media will offer three new volumes of Naruto per-month from September through December 2007 – a first for any U.S. manga publisher.
