It started off as the stock sideshow version.from their nov 2005 release  but after about 2 weeks worth of me customizing now it looks to be dead on the sideshow version had so many flaws i just couldn't resist improving on it.

I also made his machine gun from one piece of balsa  Wood i hand carved it myself.then I added the barrel (a  Nail).and the clip is from another scale gun.i think by me hand  Carving it really gives it that primitive ape feel.i also repainted  Everything in a more accurate color to match exactly from the movie (Beneath the planet of the apes).the sides of the helmet flaps i  Redid I used real leather pieces and made them a longer  Length the flaps it came with looked silly because they weren’t  Long enough i repainted the face and eyes to make it look more  Realistic  and I also added real hair to his face and beard the  Hard plastic hair that was there just didn’t cut it for me a ha he h  Ha get it (cut it.hair.).a ha he ha.anyway ,oh

i also  Gave him more ape like bulk in the chest area i added padding  Inside his vest ,he was just to flat looking to be a  Gorilla  and of course I painted in the armor silver ,the  Second pieces of armor that it came with hanging from the arms i  Had to remove because they just aren’t there in his uniform in the  Movie i also customized his head so it can tilt lower down ,i  Hope you agree with all my customizing that he his is now an exact  Replica from the movie  thank you again for wanting to see all my  Hard work ,you have my permission to do whatever you would like  With the photos too and if you need more with a different  Lighting or back round etc ,just let me know  take Care.sincerely fellow collector
