After getting the go ahead from the C.I.A to reform his team "The Boys" , The Butcher, described by a confidential C.I.A. report as "the most lethal individual ever encountered by this agency," set's out to convince people to join his cause, which is to keep the Supes ( Superheros ) in line, and to punish them if they decide to cross it.

This may just be my new favorite series. One word can describe it, "Gritty" The Boys, from "Wildstorm" is about a group employed by the C.I.A to watch over superhero's, and keep them in line if they cross it. This 2nd issue follows Billy Butcher as he set's out to recruit new members. The comic continues to be extremely graphic, from gore, to language, to sexual innuendo. Their are many moments that are sure to shock you, so shocking in fact, that you'll probely end up laughing like I did. I can't wait to start seeing your flashy, typical looking superhero's pop up within the same pages of this graphic content, it'll be sort of like 2 different worlds crashing into each other, which should make for some interesting moments.

The art in "The Boys" continues to impress me, with it's meld of realistic, yet slightly cartoon'ish character and background designs. If you haven't checked out The Boys yet, make sure to hop on with the first issue before it's to late, this is going to be a great series, i'm loving it.
