I don’t see a reason to put “Lost Daughter of Krypton” on the cover, maybe sales were done last month.
In this story Superboy is already dead. Infinite crisis killed him off…anyways…
The comic opens up to a scantily clad Kara, who looks very nice to me, but if she’s supposed to look like a 15 year old girl then she sure FOOLED me! Ahem*
The cover of issue #8 is sort of what takes place here, Kara plays with Powergirl a bit and then the scene shifts to her dancing with for date. Then memories of
The series seems to be going for a Smallville theme in this issue. Art is great, Ian Churchill is back, colors by Rod Reis great as always, and the story takes us away from all the insanity of issue #8. I guess they wanted people to be able to read the issue without having prior knowledge of the previous ones. Also this probably will appeal to a teen audience more than the adult one. That’s fine. Nice story Joe Kelly, thank you for taking us away from Candor!!!
Art 8/10 - Same good stuff!
Story 5.5 – Could use some improvement. Can we see more action please?!
Overall 7/10 – For sure pick this one up simply if you like the art, and the whole Supergirl thing!
