Speakeasy Comics continues to make inroads into the Direct Market comic book buying public's narrow-casted attention spans:

SPEAKEASY REWARDS ITS FANS
New Program (RFP) Debuts
Speakeasy Comics announced today a companion program to its RRP (Rewarding Retailers Program) with the brand new RFP -- Rewarding Fans Program!

“We’ve been working on this since we put the RRP together,” explained Adam Fortier, President of Speakeasy Comics. “And this RFP grew out of our work on the RRP as a complementary program and also helps serve the retailers as well as the fans and customers.”

The Speakeasy Comics RFP Program works like this:

1) Speakeasy Comics Fans, working with their local shop as a sponsor, write a letter to Speakeasy Comics (mail: 366 ADELAIDE STREET, E. SUITE 331 TORONTO, CANADA, M5A 3X9/email: info@speakeasycomics.com) telling us why they like both us and the title they’re reading (like more than one title? Send more than one letter!) Note: Retailers can only sponsor one letter per entry, so fans need multiple retailers to send multiple letters.
2) Fans provide their contact info (name, address, email address) as well as the name and address of their sponsor store along with the letter. NOTE: INCOMPLETE ENTRIES WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY WITHDRAWN FROM COMPETITION!
3) The MOST creative entry wins! Entries will be evaluated by a secret panel of impartial judges based on both visual and written components, so feel free to put in as much effort as you feel necessary to win this thing! Speakeasy Comics would like to suggest that their fans work alone on their entry, since you won’t want to share the prize.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING FOR?

The winning Fan receives a unique, hand crafted sketchbook replicating the look of the Grimoire, with detailed original sketches from the majority of the creators and cover artists working on our books in 2005.
The winning Retailer Sponsor: One of the same sketchbooks as described above! Only two of these will be created EVER!
Program starts now and runs through to August 31st, 2005 5pm EST.
Entries accepted by mail, email or in person at the conventions in San Diego and Chicago (ask for Elizabeth).
Winner will be announced on the Speakeasy Comics website on September 12th, 2005.
