You have to hang around with the kids of your parents friends, who are pretty annoying apart from this one girl Nico. What would happen though if you all caught your parents doing something so wrong, so incomprehensible the first thing you can do is runaway. Now these same annoying kids are your only allies in this whole messed up situation. Alex has emerged as the leader figure. What will he do!?!

Vaughan show's month after month that he knows how to portray great characterisation. We see this story from both the kids & parents point of view. And are left wondering, are the parents really bad! These aren't your fake arse Dawson Creek brats, these are regular teenagers that you actually feel for. With the fret of one of their friends ( Mollies) life, what should the gang do. Can they actually beat their parents?

This is bold art, solid lines, firm colours and it works so damn well. You can really see this book as a drama rather than a superhero romp. And this is the beauty of this series. The pencils aren't heavily complex or detailed, everything is simple done, but in doing this the impact is jus made bigger.
