Alex and the rest of the kids are now adrift in the world! They've run away from their super-villain parents, and now they have set up base in a deserted, sunken mansion! The thing is, now what do they do?

After the last issue, I was wondering how Vaughan would flow from that. I have to say he's made a seamless transmission to this new arc. It's not fast paced, but the interaction between the characters and the pop culture references interspersed throughout jus makes you smile. The parents are at each others throats and contemplating their next move. Molly, Gertrude, Chase and Karolinia are acting like their home alone (well, suppose they are really). Mr Wilder and Alex are both trying to focus their groups. So what's going to be their next moves!?! The ending…….Xavier watch out!!!

I love Alphona's work in this book! It's unpretentious in its simplicity, which makes it even more prominent! Some of the characters have fantastical powers, but they don't look out of place within the book. We see a whole range of emotions within the story and every one of them is captured superbly by Alphona! And what can I say about that cover, its jus so damn nice :)
