Assassin's
Creed
now mobile
Gameloft
launched its own, mobile version of Ubisoft's critically acclaimed
new console title,
Assassin's Creed,
today. Set in Jerusalem in 1191 A.D., as the Third Crusade is tearing
apart the Holy Land, players take on the role of Altair, an elite
assassin commissioned to eliminate leaders from both sides of the
conflict. The mobile version of the game plays primarily as a
side-scroller, which lets players explore, assassinate and escape
obstacles. It also features medieval weapons for close combat and
long-range attacks, and a fighting system that includes combo moves
which mix sword skills, strikes and kicks. The mobile version of
Assassin's Creed
is
available now through most U.S. carriers.
Gamers
can now
Boogie
on PS2
Electronic Arts announced
the release of
Boogie
for
Playstation 2 today. The dancing and singing game which originally
debuted on Wii in August, and was recently featured on NBC's Today
Show for a segment on keeping families fit, can now be enjoyed by
Playstation 2 users across North America. EA will also be releasing a
Nintendo DS version of the game later this month and, according to
EA, will feature the first 3D gameplay on the handheld system. What
does EA mean by that exactly? Well, the game includes 3D glasses
inside the box, thus meaning it really is the first game to feature
3D gameplay on the Nintendo DS.
Boogie
is
available now for Playstation 2 for $49.99 USD and CAD and is rated
E10+ for Everyone 10 and up. The package includes a microphone.
