Supergirl goes to Smallville to look up Superboy for some advice. Instead, he attacks her and we get a super slug-out in the cornfields. Then the Titans show up and they attack both Supergirl and Superboy. Then the Mexicools drive in on their lawnmowers and gang up on the heroes. Then Jeff Jarret takes his guitar..... okay, well maybe the Mexicools and Jarret don't really appear but they might as well have brought them in as this issue is just an excuse for a series of fight scenes. Kon-El vs. Supergirl, Cyborg vs. Superboy, Wonder Girl vs. Supergirl, etc.... The writer and editor are both capable of better things but apparently, they feel that SUPERGIRL is suppose to be the showcase of grand-scale action tied together by the flimsiest plots. The art, which shows off both Earth-shaking punches and the female characters' mouth-watering figures works on the same principle. It is fun but it is mindless fun and eventually people will tire of this. Supergirl # 0 Review © Copyright 2002-2026 by Toon Doctor Inc. - All rights Reserved.
