Stormbreaker: The Saga Of Beta Ray Bill

The world Beta Ray Bill once knew has been turned upon its head. The herald, Stardust has devastated the Korbinite people…………things can only get better, right???

This story is so enthralling! We’re getting to see a distinct, new corner of the Marvel Universe, something which is exhuming a totally different feel. This is more than superhero’s in space, a lot more. After everything that happened last issue and the events of Ragnarok, Bill is more than dejected. He is questioning everything that he has lived and strived for in his life. And the little hope that seems to appear could have disappeared just as quickly in flames. On top of all this, we get another look at past events of the Korbinite people.

This book has two faces in regards to the art and both look great. If you think of some of the best looking sci-fi on TV, think Babylon 5, Deep Space 9, this holds up in feel to them. It’s a feast for your eyes. And the parts that focus on Korbinite history have such a nice feel to them. For this, we have to recognize the skill of Laura Villari, who does an outstanding job with her colour palette.
