A long time ago the five lands of
Quinwere besieged by an onslaught of Orcs, who were brought together and led by
Mordath. Eventually a saviour came,
Aydenled the reminants of the land to victory and all was well. Over three centuries later,
Mordathhas returned. Not of flesh, but with immense power as he bears a
Sigil. It is said that if the five fragments of
Aydensarrow are united he will return to once again save
Quin. So this is the quest
Arwynhas set out upon. Can she succeed.
This issue proves that
Edgintonisn't a one issue wonder. Many things are explored, which really makes you think. The whole divide between good and evil is explored really well. Would you think that a tyrant could have self doubt!?! We look through the window of
Mordathsworld and what we are shown is not to expect. This is kind of a day in the life, but with true feeling an insight! And checkout the big revelation at the end, big things are coming!!!
When I heard
Greg Landwasn't doing this issue, I thought it was gonna be crap like some of
>CrossGensother fill in stuff. Was I mistaken or what!
Larosa&
Derenickhave truly done a great job in this issue. Everything has a vivid quality that creates such an atmosphere. And the incineration scenes are definitely WOW! Some of this stuff can definitely be made into Lithos!
