The Runaways' biggest adventure continues! Our young heroes are finally ready to take on their evil parants, and the future of the Marvel Universe hangs in the balance!

Vaughan has this great ability to tell an intriguing story, which is fun and feels like so much has happened. Even though sometimes, just the surface has been scratched. Sometimes when kids are involved, we're given a bunch of philosophy doctorates which always becomes irritating. The joy of this though, is that the conversation is perfect for each character. Everyone seems to be geared up for big happens. The Pride look to be in for a shock and the Runaways, is love and loss on the agenda???

I really do love Alphona's pencils. They seem simple and un-convoluted, but at the same time they convey so much character and this enticing charm that draws you into the page. There are some really nice touches throughout, like bubble face Molly, a kiss scene (great backdrop) with great Molly reaction. And the opening page, that would make a great Litho. And all of this just helps build that emotional connection with the story and book. Oh, and another great Chen cover.
