Rock Band Classic Rock Track Pack Coming In May

This week Harmonix, MTV Games and Electronic Arts announced that it will be releasing a brand new Rock Band track pack in stores as a standalone game this May, featuring 20 classic rock songs, across all versions of the game. The Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock will feature music from Boston, The Dead Kennedys, The Police, Steve Miller Band, The Who and more, and all of the tracks use the original master recordings. Even better, at least for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 users, the pack will be available to download for free! Well, Sort of. Too good to be true right? Well yes, because the free download only refers to being allowed to download the tracks to your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 hard drive once you've already purchased the track pack in stores.
