Part Two of this epic story is turning into, "I know what you did last summer." The revelation of the Justice League's secret wasn't as far out as expected. It's a smaller event unrelated to planet conquerors, but human frailties. Nonetheless, the effect is already pervasive. Once ago, during Operation Galactic Storm, the Avengers took a similar dive. So far, it's all familiar territory.

Let's hope Meltzer makes his attempt more reaching than the myriads of revisionists and ultimate-like stories already available. Team dynamics are already apparent. Hawkman's the boss, Zatanna's the caretaker, the Atom is the aloof scientist, Green Arrow is over protective and Black Canary needs to prove her independence. The current Flash and Green Lantern fit this family too.

Morales gives us a chilling scene with Deathstroke, making him appear like a scarier Agent Smith from the Matrix. His rendition of the Satellite Justice League is great. They look like they stepped out of the 1960s compared with the current version of the same characters. He makes Dr Light appear weak, dangerous, yet triumphant, especially when he hides behind his bodyguard.
