THOR #81: "RAGNAROK" pt. 2 (of 4)

Everything Thor knows is falling apart around him. He knows his Avengers allies will help, but some things have to be done by yourself. Something's have been engraved in legend that way!

If you thought last issues action and fast pace would end there, you were mistaken. This is another issue packed with goodness throughout. The devastation of Asgard continues, along with the bloodshed. It would seem this day has been prophesised and Oeming hits us with this at the end, in a very rousing fashion. The dialogue fits the pacing of the story well and everything is easily accessible.

Divito continues to impress with every pencil stroke. His eye for detail adds so much to the viewing experience. This is shown straight away for his forest panels. The action within the panels is given more prominence by the fact that everything is kept basic and backgrounds are only added in overly necessary. Even without Oeming's words we'd be able to pick up a lot of the story due to the expressiveness of the characters. And the rousing finish is made perfect with the last page. We are also given a very nice action cover.
