These rankings are compiled from the top 3 choices from 15 different voters on the Internet for comics released on March 2, 2005.

1. Firestorm #11, 9 pts
"This book just keeps getting better. Jolley continues to develop a great dynamic between Jason and Ronnie, and the return of three (count 'em THREE) old Raymond foes (not to mention a brief guest appearance by Ronnie's father) has GOT to be exciting the old school Firestorm fans. Dale Eaglesham's art is fantastic as always." mistermiracle, DC Message Boards

2. Knights of the Dinner Table #100, 6 pts, 2 1st place votes
Didn't continue the regular plot, but contained a large number of fun medium length strips. Not as excellent as I expected for a centennial issue, but still a fun read. The characters are among the most entertaining in comics, although they are almost never found away from a table. Here's hoping for another hundred issues!

3. Deadshot #4 6 pts, 1 1st place vote
Probably the worst issue of the mini, mainly dealing with mushy stuff and personal issues. Fortunately that will change since next issue concludes the mini. Still with good characterization. Definitely the most entertaining that Floyd has been aside from Suicide Squad.

4. Swamp Thing #13, 5 pts, 2 2nd place votes
"Not bad, but nothing to really recommend either. The guest artist in this issue was much better than the regular one though. This is definately a nostalgia buy for me at this point." davecormier, DC Message Boards

5. Detective Comics #804, 5 pts, 1 2nd place vote
"Good, not great. I'm enjoying the story and the 'Broken City' vibe (right down to appearances by Penguin and Scarface) but there's maybe a little too much going on at once. Some good stuff with Freeze, and a great ending. I'm going to reread the arc so far and see if I get a better sense of the big picture." mistermiracle, DC Message Boards

6. Fallen Angel #19, 4 pts
"Hmm, this issue didn't really do it for me. Maybe it's because I'm unfamiliar with "Special Guest Stars" Sachs and Violens, but as a lead-in ot the finale, it didn't pack the punch I wanted it to. I did like the Angel's mean streak coming out in spades though." rouge2, DC Message Boards

(tied for 7th) Justice League Elite #9, 3 pts
"Best issue yet. We see that Manchester Black just can't let go of his 'rivalry' with Superman (he tries to manipulate time to set up a situation where Superman is killed, but continually fails); we see the quite powerful fallout of Manitou Raven's death (the scenes with Major D were chilling); and we finally learn who the killer was (and I DID NOT see that one coming). All in all, a great issue." ishmael1st, DC Message Boards

(tied for 7th) Angry Youth Comix #8, 3 pts
"In this era of uber-PC and FCC fines coming down for the stupidest things, Johnny Ryan's un-PC comic is a breath of fresh air. Johnny's humor reached extreme toilet humor that is extremely childish yet it will make you chuckle if you get the overall joke that is life. His characters are unlikeable yet we see ourselves in them. Its in bad taste, but its good bad-taste. Always look forward to this title. From Fantagraphics." dubipr, DC Message Boards

tied for 7th) Lex Luthor: Man of Steel #1, 3 pts
"This is the best interpetation I have seen of Luthor in years. He's cool, calm and collected. He looks and acts a lot like we would expect the Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville) Luthor to look and act in about 10 years. When I read the preview pages online several months ago, I knew this was going to be good. Apparently, the story is set sometime before Luthor became president and after the current Question miniseries. (since the opening of the Science Spire is days away in this issue). The Luthor in this series is still, the manipulating, intelligent villian we have grown to love.....but Azzarello also goes out of his way to make sure we can also see that this Luthor is not completely evil as he does nice things for the people around him. He reminds me of the Lex of the Silver Age who helped the people of Lex or because he really did not want to see people suffer... he just hates Superman." nuadha, DC Message Boards

(tied for 7th) Exiles #60, 3 pts
"The team enters the AGE OF APOCALYPSE (just in time for the anniversary) and meets a leftover from the ONSLAUGHT saga. Not too thrilling." darklaw14, DC Message Boards

(tied for 7th) Ultimate Spider-Man #73, Planet Ladder vol. 7, 3 pts

13. The Twilight Experiment #2, Justice League Unlimited #7, Rising Stars #24, Marvel Team-Up #6, Ultimate Iron Man #1, 2 pts

18. Superman: Strength #3, G.I. Joe Reloaded #13, Legend #1, 1 pt
