Entertainment Weekly's EW.com The “motion comic” medium is still pretty new — not quite animation, it aims to bring to life the comic book page in a dynamic way. EW has an exclusive first look at Marvel’s latest foray into the budding format, Iron Man: Extremis, a brand new Iron Man story by comic book legend Warren Ellis (Planetary, The Authority) and artist Adi Granov. Unrelated to the Robert Downey Jr. movie series, this story follows Tony Stark’s battle against a terrorist whose body has been transformed by a new bio-engineered serum called, naturally, Extremis. You can download the first of the six-episode series from iTunes, Zune, and Xbox Live on April 16 for $1.99 — each additional episode will come online every two weeks.
