The inter dimensional gateway is running loose and its up to Third Eye, the resident mystic to end the threat. Third Eye’s actions are beyond those of the Brigade’s code of conduct. Will it split the team as they vote on whether to kick her out or not?

Everybody who thought that Planetary Brigade was about nothing but quick jokes and Bwa Ha Ha Ha humour are wrong. There’s more depth to this story mixed with the light humour. It’s impressive how fast Giffen and Dematteis go in action with a brief introduction to the team and great characterisation. We’re already into team dynamics and can look forward to some of the themes that will animate and influence the series.

The multiple artists technique is not a good thing and takes away from the series. As it’s starting, a single artist would ground the series more. There are so many characters that every time the artist changes, it affects the storytelling. It’s not a good thing. Instead of focusing on the story, one tries to keep up and remember who is who. I wish they would opt for one artist per issue.
