Nightwing goes after Blockbuster but first he has to go through Shrike and resolve some issues with the Bludhaven crowd, including burying the friends from the destruction of his brownstone. In his grim pursuit, Nightwing starts to look and act a little like his old mentor but no one mentions this throughout the story. Grayson, Zircher and Owens put Dick through some great action sequences. The pain that the characters is going through is also depicted well, without going overboard on the hysterics. But the faces of some of the characters could use work. The women sometimes look different from one panel to the next. Contrary to what the cover promises, Nightwing does not have a confrontation with a machete-wielding Blockbuster. The failure to wrap this conflict up makes the story look a little padded. Hopefully, this story will reach a resolution soon. This Blockbuster sub-plot has been going on too long.
