New
Resident Evil game revealed for Wii
Capcom
will be adding a new game to its Resident Evil series and it will be
designed specifically for Nintendo Wii. Currently titled Resident
Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, the game will differ from Resident Evil 5,
which is set to be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 in late 2006 or
early 2007. A small amount of footage from the game was shown at
yesterday's Wii press event, but not much else was said on the game.
A site called The
Game Feed claims to have quite a bit of info on the game,
including the play style, the amount of chapters and the characters
that will be in the game. While we can't confirm the validity of
their statements at the moment, we're still quite excited that the
Wii will be getting a Resident Evil of its own.
