Actress/model joins Blue Water Productions as their all-new celebrity cover model!
Continuing their line of celebrity cover models, Blue Water Productions announced today that actress/model Traci Bingham (Baywatch) has signed with the creative studios to model for covers of their upcoming title, THE BLACKBEARD LEGACY - available in February 2006!
Bingham is only the newest in Blue Water's line of celebrity models, joining actress/model Cindy Margolis, who models for the studio's THE TENTH MUSE.
"I was, and still am, thrilled and honored to be a part of the comic world for all to see! And the drawings are the perfect art," said Bingham. "I have always been truly amazed by comic books. I grew up reading and collecting comic books since I was young. My four older brothers got me hooked on them, but I really love the original Wonder Woman and Batman & Robin comics."
THE BLACKBEARD LEGACY follows the story of a young pirate named Hannah, whom also just happens to be the daughter of the feared Blackbeard! This title is tentatively scheduled for a February 2006 release, with writers Darren G. Davis (Tenth Muse) and Terrance Griep (Judo Girl), and artist Mik Jimenez.
"The Blackbeard Legacy is one of those rare lightening-in-a-bottle ideas that makes you wonder, 'why didn't I think of that?'," said artist Mik Jimenez. "It has all the elements for a great comic; you have the babes, the sword fights, high adventure on the open sea, and the iconic figure of Blackbeard."
Bingham rose to celebrity fame in the mid-1990s as Jordan Tate on the widely-syndicated series, "BAYWATCH," and more recently returned to center-stage appearing in the popular VH1 series, "THE SURREAL LIFE 2." Bingham's past credits also include television series such as "THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS," "BEVERLY HILLS, 90210," and Comedy Central's "STRIP MALL," as well as appearing in the film, "THE NUTTY PROFESSOR."
"I am keeping very busy with other things as well and I'm also in production with producers for another BAYWATCH film/television project," said Bingham. "I also have a new reality show, and I am starring in a blockbuster action movie; I am the host for FANTASY FEST in Key West, Florida on pay-per-view, and I am working on a diet/fitness product and also writing a book! As far as THE BLACKBEARD LEGACY, we hope to move it to an actual television series because it is too hot not to!"
