JSA: Classifed # 15

The second part of a tale that has the unusual trio of Stargirl, Vixen and Gypsy trying to free Wildcat and the original Flash and Green Lantern, from the control of Amos Fortune and a few old JSA villains. Parts of this tale are sadly too similar to recent JSA stories which also had the Society members fighting each other, being mind-controlled, etc. There are some nice character bits as the writer tries to add some layers to Vixen and Gypsy. The art is also very well-done, making it easy to follow the story while keeping all the characters looking very powerful despite their dire straits. But some of the details are clearly forced like the personality conflict between Stargirl and the two other females. Parts of the story are inconsistent. One moment, one character is a mindless slave, the next, he is thinking and reacting, same as ever. The editor of this book should have done something to make this book look more original and to make the story flow better.
