Destineer
and United Media confirmed a partnership today, to publish the video
game
Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine
exclusively on Wii and Nintendo DS. Based on the popular Iron
Chef America cooking competition
television show, a spinoff of the worldwide hit Iron Chef,
Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine
is currently under development at Black Lantern Studios and will
feature the voice and likeness of the show's host, Mark Dacascos.
Destineer also says that it will be announcing the involvement of
additional talent from the show soon.
Players
will take the stage in Kitchen Stadium, battling through a variety of
fast-paced culinary challenges that put their skills to the test.
Each
victory advances players closer to a final showdown that will
determine who will reign supreme as the next Iron
Chef America.
Destineer has not yet announced the game's release date.
Ratatouillebecomes a greatest hit
THQ
announced today that the video game based on last year's highly
popular Disney/Pixar movie, Ratatouille,
has
become a part of the Xbox 360 “Platinum Family Hits” collection
and Sony “Greatest Hits”. The game, which THQ originally release
across 11 different platforms last summer, has shipped nearly four
million copies across all platforms worldwide. Starting today, the
Ratatouille
is
now available at retailers throughout North America for $19.99 USD
and CAD. THQ's internal studio Heavy Iron Studios is already working
on a video game based on Disney/Pixar's upcoming movie, WALL●E,
which is releasing in theatres this summer.
Mass
Effect
downloadable content now available
Microsoft
announced the release of the Bring
Down the Sky
content pack for Mass
Effect
today, available for download via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Xbox 360
users can purchase the content pack for 400 Microsoft Points. More
