A trip through memory lane as Robotman goes back in time to try to change his tragic history. He finds himself lost in various alternate timelines, including one involving the last moments of the Silver Age Doom Patrol and a "Generations"-style saga with other DC heroes. For older fans, this should be quite a treat just to see these old friends again. But it also reminds them about how the Doom Patrol's history has been abruptly revamped with all these old stories brushed aside. Perhaps Byrne intended this to show that the old pre-Crisis stories are still there, even if they are no longer part of continuity but I doubt this will satisfy the continuity mavens. There is also a bizarre romance between Cliff Steele and Rita Farr that is suppose to be touching but actually comes out as kind of creepy. The art by Byrne is well done however, especially the little touches like the changes in the costumes of the characters over the years.
