Knowledge and Scholarship Who's Who - Chris the 4thpip By Hervé St-Louis August 7, 2012 - 09:47 I’m not sure what the 4th Pip stands for, but I do recall that Chris has been hanging around comic book forums for several years. He’s been discussing comics, criticizing them and debating them with other comic book collectors for a long time. So it was only natural when that he would start writing more seriously about them right? Well, the transition from forum participant/commentator to full fledged can often be a problem. There is less freedom, especially when you can’t just say something was bad or crap, or great. You need to back up everything you say full arguments. Not that Chris didn’t, but he must not have liked the rigour of writing for a comic site as he only contributed two articles, the first in late October 2006. I’m pretty sure you can find Chris the 4thpip’s signature on a comic book forum you’ve visited recently even today.
