It’s a bachelor’s party, Wakanda-style. Hum, make that super hero style with super tramps all over the place. And if that weren’t enough, we get to see Storm’s friends, Kitty Pride and Susan Storm shop with her and give us all that girl talk like to avoid on the View. Now, the Black Panther says “the wedding is a ceremony to celebrate a commitment (he’s) already made in (his) heart.” So why keep us waiting for this wedding issue then?

The wedding of the X-Men’s storm to the Black Panther is such an important event for Marvel, that they asked Hudlin to slow down and pad the series a bit until it would fall smack in the middle of the Civil War. Sure the story is fun and does a lot to build up the quasi inexistent relationship with Storm and T’Challa that was mandated from above. However, even a funny batchelor’s party and a girl cat fight can make a comic book exciting. Fortunately, the tie-in with the Civil War happens next issue and this series can get on with its own stories.

The artwork continues to work well. Every character has a unique face, although some of the hookers look dangerously like other super heroine!
