Rated “T” for “Teen”

Her name is Nino Arisugawa, and she first finds comfort in singing with Momo Sakaki, a boy who was her next door neighbor.  Then, Momo suddenly moves away.  Nino soon finds comfort in a young songwriter, Kanade “Yuzu” Yuzuriha, who calls Nino, “Alice.”  He tells her that she should sing instead of scream, but he also moves away.  Now, Nino is in high school and is confronted by reunions.

Anonymous Noise, Vol. 6 (Chapters 29 to 34) opens in the aftermath of the Rock Horizon music festival/event, the most influential in Japan.  Momo disappeared after his band, Silent Black Kitty's performance.  Now, unable to find him, Nino seems to have lost her voice, and is left to sing terribly.  Now, it is time for Yokohama Central High's school festival, and Nino hopes to perform with the “Pop Music Club.”  Will the club allow her to, and can she sing even if the members welcome her?

THE LOWDOWN:  The Anonymous Noise manga focuses on a crazy love triangle – one girl and two separate boys.  And like any good shojo high school romance that cooperates with its readers, this manga deals with uncooperative teenagers.

Anonymous Noise Graphic Novel Volume 6 presents teen love with so much drama that it might be better to describe “drama” as “static.”  Teen angst, awkward budding romances, runaway boyfriends, bad singing, and more; this static don't stop the beat, y'all; the beat, y'all!  Ryoko Fukuyama depicts conflict that keeps the readers around just to see what happens next.  So does he come back?

I READS YOU RECOMMENDS:  Fans of Shojo Beat high school romantic dramas will want to jam to Anonymous Noise.
