Sell Ads For The Bin

Starting September 1st 2007 up to December 31 2007, The Comic Book Bin is trying a something new in regards to our advertising space.

We're inviting our community to find potential advertisers and sign them up for one of the three advertising banner programs we run on the site.

All you have to do is sign an advertiser for The Comic Book Bin. Don't just send us or them a link to each other. You have to do the talking and have them agree to purchase advertising space from us, using one of the banner format we currently offer.

Why do you have to do all the work? Well, if we have to do all the work, what's the point of paying you a commission? Yeah you heard right! We'll pay you a commission if you land us a successful advertiser.

Here are our rates.

You get up to 15% of the listed price of an ad the advertiser purchased the first time up to December 31 2007.

You get up to 5% of subsequent ad they purchase at the listed price, because you introduced them to us, up to December 31 2007.

All the prices are located in our advertising page and broken by section and ad format. So print that page and get familar with the the chart.

Conditions

1-We pay you, once the advertiser has paid their invoices. We can't pay money we don't have.

2-We'd rather that you are not affiliated with the advertiser.

3-You may offer discounts to the advertiser on the price of the ad, but please be aware, that any discount or deal you offer them will come off your commission, and not from our margin. Your only room for negotiation is your commission.

For example.

If an ad costs $100 and you sell it for $90 to the advertiser, we get the full $85 we are due. However, because you were generous, you will only get $5 from the sale, because you negotiated away your commission.

Be extra careful when negotiating away your margin. You are responsible for how much you get paid in the end.

4-As this is a pilot project, our current offer is only applicable to the three ad formats located in our advertising page.

If you know a deal we should be aware of, we'll have to discuss that outside this project.

5-The negotiation has to be completed with the client ready to go and send their advertising money and advertisements to us in the formats described in the advertising pages. We won't pay commission on deals we have to close ourselves.

6-Agencies and advertising networks are excluded from this offer as both advertisers and advertising resellers. We won't accept ads from networks.

7-We have to have the advertising space to fulfil the demand. If you close a deal for a spacew that's already occupied forn the same period of time, we'll try to find a work around, but make no garantees that we can fulfil the order.

8-The advertiser has to be suitable for The Comic Book Bin audience. That means, no sex, illicit product or service, scam or offending ads. Keep it clean.

9-If we are already in negotiation with an advertiser, we'll tell you and won't accept your offer or pay a commission.

10-We pay through Paypal in US currency. All prices in the advertising pages are in US Dollars. Make sure Paypal payments are accepted in your country.

11-Least but not least, like we mentionned several times, this pilot ends on December 31 2007.
