Meet Chicago's newest supers, Hunter and Chase-- a brother/sister team of unlikely heroes struggling to fill the void left by the city's greatest hero-- and stay alive in the process!

Absolute Zeroes begin's with Ashley talking to her brother Alex about her first day at work. Things get crazy in her flashback as suddenly an Earthquake hit's which sends Ashley running into her bosses office - only to discover him undressing, revealing that he is one of Earth's greatest Superhero's, Vic Victory. This being the first issue, not a whole lot is told in terms of where things will be leading, it's more of a welcome to this world type of thing more then anything else - this is normal for first issues obviously, so in the sense of first issues, Absolute Zeros #1 is off to a great start. Their are quite a few funny moments in this issue as we'll, i've always been a fan of mixing Superhero's with humor, I personally hope this type of story telling continues.

The Art, which is in Black & White, is sharp, with lot's of detailed Characters and backgrounds. I do wish it were in Color though, but then again, nearly everything I read in  Black & White I wish were Colored, so my opinion is always biased on that subject. Absolute Zeroes from Jeremy Dale and Ronin Studios Is starting off to be an excellent new series - and it's different, from it's storyline to it's humor, it provides a much needed relief from your standard Superhero romp.
