Ares’ kids are influencing people’s perception of Wonder Woman and causes Power Girl to attack the Amazon princess. Which heroine will yield first?

Who else can challenge Wonder Woman than Power Girl? The story here is irrelevant. I don’t really care about Ares’ kids. Like all readers all I wanted to see is the fight between what has to be the two most powerful women in the DC Comics universe. I still think Power Girl should win, but I’m a fanboy – ignore me. This is the first Gail Simone story about Wonder Woman than I have picked up and I liked it. I recognize the strong inner monologue from the characters that sounds completely different than anything written by Geoff Johns or Mark Waid. I like Simone’s skills better.

I prefer the pages with Dagnino to Batista but overall it was a well drawn issue with a lot of fighting which all I really cared. The plot as mentioned above has been done so many times just to see two heroes fight each other. The artists deliver on the fight and may entice me, along with Simone’s script to stick around for more issues.
