Akira continues to play his game with his Twitter followers, asking them all to make life or death decisions on the go. While Courtney finally understands the game she’s in, other players may not be so lucky.

This comic was quite intriguing but it was also my first issue. I understand some of the literary devices used, such as the talking leopard in the young man’s mind prompting him to become an aggressor. From what I understand about this comic, it is like Fight Club but with Twitter and women admitted to the scene. The plot is intricate and I would suggest that readers start the story from the beginning in order to understand what is happening and why it’s all falling apart.

Mike Dowling’s inks are strong and dirty. His lines are not clean and smooth. Yet they convey the right amount of grittiness that fits the post-modernist take on Twitter and egotism that writer Rob Williams is trying to convey with his script. Dowling’s world feels almost normal but there is a sense of dread and irregularity in his lines that makes everything less than picture perfect, Quinton Winter’s colours complement his inks very well.
