Dash is punished because instead of saving his sister and worrying about the safety of his family, he prefers to jump on the villains and take a few shots at them. To remind him of what is important in for a super hero, his parents remove his powers temporarily. But Dash suspect that his history teacher is an alien and without his powers, there is nothing that he can do to stop an alien invasion.

I like this story, although I suspect there will be a big reveal next issue about why Dash lost his powers in the first place. This story really captures the personalities of the characters we all loved to watch on film and deliver a story firmly anchored in that continuity. The formula works for me and one cannot but feel sorry for Dash and how the rest of the world ignores what he has to say.

The drawings here were quite good, but I would argue that they are not exactly on model with the Incredibles as seen in the Pixar movie. Yet, they were still charming and fill of expressions. The colouring was quite good too with many light effects added on the characters and scenes to provide more drama.
