The Flash inherits new dangerous powers from the negative speed force that destroy almost everything he interacts with. This causes him a lot of problems as he attempts to catch villains and a Shrapnel, a new enforcer working for a mastermind who controls which criminal can operate in Central City. How can Barry Allen save the day?
This issue was good although I do not enjoy the ending. The fastest man alive cannot save three people from Shrapnel even though he can move at super speed. The Flash apparently can save people at super speed when it’s convenient for a story but he cannot when it creates a dynamic tension towards the ending of an episode.

Still, it’s a good comic with new plots in Barry Allen’s professional life and a new major villain in town. Williamson is still playing with Geoff Johns and Mark Waid’s toys. I wish he would forge his own path. Let’s hope that this story is a step in that direction.
I usually like Carmine Di Giandomenico but this issue, it seems like he is competing with Howard Porter, the alternate illustrator to se which one will make Barry Allen, the Flash and every other character the uglier. The draftsmanship is there but the rendition is poor.
