Awards were given, art revealed, and trailers dropped. Plus, tons of familiar faces coming to television! Here's the best of what happened yesterday in The #Binquirer: #SDCC Day 2 Recap. Be sure to follow us on Twitter, both here and my own feed for the latest news. Comics The 2014 Eisner Awards were handed out last night in a special gala. Winners included Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples for Saga, Matt Fraction and David Aja for Hawkeye, and Sex Criminals getting Best New Series. More at Behind the Panels. Art for Grant Morrison' upcoming The Multiversity series was revealed today. Each of the nine issues will tell the story of a different universe while adding together to a much larger, more complex whole. More at CBR. Eric Burnham is going to be a busy man for IDW. At the IDW panel, the Ghostbusters scribe will be writing a new Galaxy Quest series and a TMNT/Ghostbusters crossover. More at CBR. Art for the confusingly titled Avengers: Rage of Ultron OGN by Rick Remender and Jerome Opena has be released. More at Newsarama. Kieron Gillen and Marguerite Bennet will be doing a miniseries called Angela: Asgard's Assassin, based on the character Neil Gaiman recently won from Todd McFarlane and sold to Marvel. Angela is the daughter of Odin and a bit of a "ronin," according to Gillen, and must find a place for herself in this new world. More at Comicbook. Television A trailer for The Walking Dead Season 5 has debuted. Watch it below: Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are writing an Evil Dead TV show together. Literally no other information is available, including when it will debut, and where. More at /Film. Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Community directors Anthony and Joe Russo will be directing episodes of Agent Carter. The brothers will direct the second and third episodes of the proposed eight episode season. More at Badass Digest. Film James Gunn will be writing and directing the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel. The first movie will be released August 1. More at Variety. Ant-Man is quickly becoming Marvel's biggest mess.
