The Binquirer isn't just an asinine pun; it's also your best source for pop-culture news. Here at the Bin, we're dedicated to making your reading experience more fulfilling, and our new aggregated news articles, The Binquirers, will keep you up to date on comic books, films, video games, and more in one frequent and concise package. Enjoy our latest installment below!

DC Comics:

The Associated Press reported that DC's advertised Superman/Wonder Woman romance may supersede any relationship that Clark and Lois Lane might have in the future. It was speculation, but still started a shit-storm. CBR received confirmation from DC that AP's conjecture was not endorsed by the publisher of Superman and Wonder Woman. Like much of the New 52, expect the Clark and Diana romance, which debuts in Justice League #12, to go nowhere, and how!

Marvel Comics:

At Toronto's Fan Expo over the weekend, it was announced that the creative team of Joe Keatinge and Rich Elson, who were behind Marvel's now defunct Thanos: Son of Titan, will be working on a Morbius: The Living Vampire series. Keatinge told Newsarama (people still talk to them?) that the series would take on a tone not unlike Grant Morrison's iconic run on Doom Patrol. The ongoing series begins January.

Teasers for the conclusion to Avengers vs. X-Men reveal a return of an infamous Marvel villain. Can you guess who it is? Alright, I'll just tell you. It's Dark Phoenix.

More Comics:

Bleeding Cool has reported that Dave Sims' Cerebus: High Society negatives were destroyed in a fire over the weekend.

Film and Television:

That Marvel television series we'd been talking about, even before Joss Whedon was attached to produce it? Yeah, that's been green-lit by ABC, and it turns out that it will be a series about the covert organization S.H.I.E.L.D.!
