Somebody captured this image while at the 2011 Licensing International Expo. It's an early promotional poster, that's for certain. So we can't draw too many conclusions from it as it will likely be refined, redesigned and possibly even be joined by several other promotional images by the time the movie is released. There is no word yet on who the artist is.

One thing I will say about the poster is that I like it adherence to Avengers comic book covers of the past. And if there is one thing the poster screams it's 'action' and purpose, there is no ambiguity here. We can't see Hawkeye too well (yet) but what we do see is interesting, he's definitely a very modern version with not a hint of purple costume to be seen. I'll be interested to see what else emerges promotionally for this movie in the months to come.
