Bart Allan, the new Flash, confronts his evil counterpart, Inertia in Las Vegas even while an old foe of the Flash dynasty hunts down Bart's girlfriend in the same city. This story has a strong Silver-Age feel to it with Flash using his speed in clever ways to defeat both his enemies. After a sluggish start, the writing team of Bilson and De Meo appear to finally have gotten the character right. Too bad this is their last issue as the series is just starting to pick up. The art also has a clean Silver-Age look that is unspectacular but which tells the story well and is easy to follow. There is an obvious sex scene in this book which isn't too graphic but still throws off the dramatic pace of the story. It also looks out of place in a title that should be trying to appeal to kids. Maybe they thought that since the story was set in Vegas, they had to add something naughty to the comic. This issue gets a respectable three out of five stars.
