How big a d!ck is Damien? Funnily enough although in many ways he’s a huge dbag, in this issue he isn’t painted in as bad a light as he could be portrayed as the worlds biggest dbag. I am not totally on team Damien as opposed to Wally, yet he shows strong leadership over the titans in this issue. But I am burying the lede. This issue isn’t about Damien, its focussed on Jackson Hyde aka the new aqualad? Actually even that’s a lie as the heroine of the tale(well the cliffhanger ending will tell) is Hyde's mother.
Why would she be a heroine? You’ll have to read to find out, but o doubt it’s a spoiler to mention Black Manta is in this issue.

I’ve praised Percy's storytelling before, but I am man enough to do it again, all right I’m a fanboy. His storytelling prowess is superb he knows when to be blunt and comicky and when to use subtle narrative to tell his story.

If I was to say the art was superb I may be repetitive, but frankly I don’t care. A review is an opinion and in my opinion the pencils, inks and colors in this title are exceptional.
