Keaton reunites with Victoria, and they reach the precipice of their destination. Again, though, enemies who were thought to be vanquished, return to make things difficult. The bulk of this issue deals with the clearing the air between the two main protagonists, Keaton and Victoria. They finally realize that they are each others' best bet to reach their destination and potentially cure the world of its greatest illness: Frostbite. As they finally reach the precipice of their destination though, their greatest challenge begins. There's plenty of solid storytelling effort put into the reunion and the subsequent conflict between Keaton and Victoria. Other than a little shooting and one big explosion resulting from the creation of a cold fusion pulsar though, there really isn't much else going on. After a few issues full of plenty of action there needed to be some character development and plot advancement between these two main protagonists. Jason Shawn Alexander's artwork continues to impress. His representation of the mini cold fusion pulsar is slightly disappointing though. He makes up for it with just about every other panel of fantastic and unique looking art. Frostbite is a great Vertigo Comics series.
