Knowledge and Scholarship Who's Who - Mark Allen By Hervé St-Louis August 5, 2012 - 18:47 Mark Allen is the other half of Suspended Animation the syndicated comic book review column published for over 15 years which has been featured at ComicBookBin. I don’t know much about Mark Allen, besides the fact that he is a long time associate of Michael Vance and that they both share duties on Suspended Animation and while it was running regularly, they’ve never missed a deadline. Just like Michael, it was always a feat to see what Mark would review next for his column. They have a knack for picking up offbeat comics that deserve a greater exposure but are created by great professionals. Mark Allen’s first column was at the end of September 2006 and his contribution, as part of Suspended Animation lasted until October 2010. The team has recently started reviewing again, but I’ve been slow to pick up their latest reviews.
