But will Mr. Terrific arrive in time before the crucial attack on his allies or is it too late to change the past? This was an expedited conclusion to one of the best Justice Society storyline since this book was rebooted. It is similar to the first X-Men’s Days of the Future Past where Kitty Pryde’s older self went to the body of her past incarnation to stop an event from occurring. I really liked the story although one can feel that the Justice League crossover put some pressure on Willingham to end his story quickly. Still, the resolution was decent, although some parts are still sketchy and not clear. I d like the new opportunity Obsidian was given as a character to start fresh without the baggage of the past. That’s good and maybe the character will be better liked by readers. I have to mention the joke about Obsidian’s past flaws being fixed including his homosexuality. The expression of his teammates was priceless. Speaking of expression, I like the pencils in the story, but the inks leave something to be desired.
