The man is a master of knowledge when it comes to the Caped Crusader, and it always shows in his stories. Issue #3 of Batman, Inc., is no exception.     From deep in the DC vault, after toying with him for a short time back in 2007 while he was writing Batman, Morrison brings up El Gaucho. The glorious intro Morrison gives this guy is classic. I laughed out of the sheer ridiculousness of what was happening. It’s very reminiscent of the Machete style presentation and it works exquisitely.     In terms of continuing the story, it does its job. While it doesn’t serve any sort of purpose to the overall narrative of Batman, Inc., it does well enough in its own right by introducing another prospective Batman, this time from Argentina.     I will say that, as with most of Morrison’s writing, it starts to fall apart near the end. Everything feels a little bit rushed and edited down way too much. Still, the point gets across and the plot twist involving the villain was…okay. It sort of snuck up on me but, honestly, I should have seen it coming.     An adequate continuation of an excellent book if ever there was one.
