Green Wedding

As the title suggests this issue features a wedding. But first team Batman are attending Ted Lord’s funeral. Most of the issue is taken up with the planning and execution of Black Canary and Green Arrow's wedding. Of course they are superheroes, not regular folks so you know some baddies are going to crash it.

And here is where I wish I had a scorecard because I thought at least some of the baddies were on team Batman. And while this is going on Damien and Bruce have a tense standoff over Alfred's corpse. This may be the most interesting part of this comic as it really highlights the other part of Damien's heritage.

The writing in this issue was decent, but this seems to be another comic this week that wasn’t up to its previous standards story wise. I hope it is setting off for a good payoff and not just following a comic wedding trope. The quality of this series has been such that I am optimistic.
This week's art team was different from last weeks but still great art consistent with the series without being copycat.
