Darkseid is back and is chasing Orion across the multiverse. An escaping Orion comes across Kyle Rainer and Hal Jordan and of course, when two sets of super hero meet, they fight before they join force and fight the authentic bad guy. But the fighting the bad guy part may be too late as Darkseid has other plans for Orion and those around him.

This issue was really fun for both the story and the design of celestial-like creatures that appear to be chasing Orion. In other words, it’s Green Lantern meets Jack Kirby. What can go wrong? Nothing of course. The story had a good mix of paying attention to previous continuity, a lot of action, enough characterization and believable characters, and of course a new threat from beyond. This is a well executed comic.

Rafa Sandoval is solid. He has a clean style with a few edges and angles that add to the dynamism of Green Lanterns. I really enjoy reading a comic without any internal logical flaw, good art, and a strong plot. Read this!
