The various representatives of other Lantern corps continue to chase Green Lantern Kyle Rayner who has apparently stolen power rings from other lanterns. With the help of Saint Walker, a Blue Lantern, Rayner hopes to talk to Green Lantern Ganthet and figure why he is attracting all these rings. But what if Ganthet doesn’t have the answer.

This series continues to pack enough action per page to keep me thrilled for a while. While a basic and simple premise, this story is told quite well, as the rings feel more like a burden to Kyle Rayner than a gift. I like the fact that Rayner just can’t get a break. It feels like I’m reading a Spider-man story, but better told and with a cosmic perspective. Is Kyle Rayner the new Spider-man of the DC Comics’ line?

The art is not always clean. I’m not sure if the crosshatching works with the style the artist has chosen. It should be much cleaner than what we’re seeing now. The crosshatching weighs down the story by making it feel heavy and serious, while the story is quite light and more a roller-coaster ride than a depressing survey of life.
