Sinestro and Green Lantern Hal Jordan infiltrate Korugar to stop the Sinestro Corps from enslaving the planet. But the well-crafted plan Sinestro planned goes wrong and it’s up to Hal Jordan to save the day.

I didn’t like how Jordan was treated as a complete rookie by Sinestro who could not perform some tricks such as changing the colour of his radiating light. It didn’t make much sense. However, I did like that it’s Sinestro himself who sabotage the well-crafted rescue plan instead of Hal Jordan for once. This series continues to be fast-paced and plays a lot with established continuity about Sinestro and Jordan. I like the story even though, as I wrote above, I grow tired of seeing Hal Jordan portrayed as an idiot instead of a seasoned pro.

Mahnke’s Sinestro is creepy but so real. I like the crispness of the artwork. There is a Gil Kane quality to the visuals, which is quite a compliment for the artist.
