Games Gear Up For War By Sean Booker July 8, 2011 - 08:51 If you're one of the many who finished with the Gears of War 3 beta and are eagerly waiting for the game's release later this year then Microsoft has your back. Gears 3 Training is an online game set in the Gears of War universe that players can waste some time on and have the chance of getting some prizes. Players can "battle" through three missions of this top down perspective game (quite unlike the core game itself) while having the chance at winning Microsoft points, several months of Xbox Live, and more. You will also be able to turn to your Xbox 360's Dashboard for tips and hints each week. The top five Canadian (yay!) gamers who have the best time (as depicted by the posted online leaderboards) for all three missions found in Gears 3 Training will win the grand prize: an all-expense paid trip to Toronto for the exclusive Gears of War 3 launch party.
